How to check your GAP gram balance and statement

Where to see your GAP gram balance, what the GAP Statement records, and how to match it with your invoices and bank statement.

Updated 25 Oct 2026

Summary

  • The GAP Statement records every purchase, withdrawal and sale in grams.
  • Match it with the Tax Invoice for each purchase.
  • A 1 gram balance keeps the account active.

Before you start

  • An active Public Gold account

Steps

  1. Log in. Log in on the official Public Gold website or app.
  2. Open your GAP account. Go to the GAP account section to see your gram balance.
  3. Open the statement. The GAP Statement records every transaction: purchases, withdrawals and resales, in grams (GAP terms, clause 1.5).
  4. Match it with invoices. Every purchase has a Tax Invoice with purity, weight and price (clause 1.4).
  5. Check Auto Debit. If you use Auto Debit, match each bank deduction with the grams credited.
  6. Keep the minimum balance. Keep at least 1 gram if you want the account to stay active (clauses 2.5, 3.3).

Good to know

The ringgit value of your balance changes daily with the gold price. The weight in grams only changes when you buy, sell or withdraw.
