Summary
- Minimum 1 gram, in multiples of 1 gram.
- A Gold Premium charge applies to every withdrawal.
- Through the GAP system, a branch, or a Gold ATM.
Before you start
- Enough GAP balance for the grams you want, plus 1 gram to stay active
Steps
- Choose how. You can withdraw on any business day through the GAP system or at a Public Gold branch (GAP terms, clause 2.1).
- Pick a product. Choose from the gold products Public Gold currently offers (clause 2.2).
- Decide the weight. Minimum 1 gram, in multiples of 1 gram (clause 2.4).
- Check the Gold Premium. Each withdrawal carries a Gold Premium charge set by Public Gold from time to time (clause 2.3). Check the amount before confirming.
- Mind the balance. Keep 1 gram so the account stays active. Withdrawing everything closes the account, and any balance under 1 gram is sold to Public Gold (clauses 2.5–2.6).
- Or use a Gold ATM. Public Gold says its Gold ATMs let you withdraw physical gold straight from your gold savings account. Check locations on the Gold ATM page.
- Confirm. Cancelling after a withdrawal order can incur a charge (clause 2.7).
Good to know
Once withdrawn, physical gold is yours to store safely. If you want to stay flexible, you can keep it in GAP, which has no storage fee.
Stay safe: never share your password or TAC code with anyone, including us. We never ask for a photo of your IC.
